Follow me to the United States, where I collaborated with (MUA&Hair) stylist Coleen Scott during a fashion photoshoot in a penthouse in New York!
In my newest video you can take a look behind-the-scenes of my USA photoshoot, and see what I saw on my way going there.
During my time in New York I worked together with designer and (MUA&Hair) stylist Coleen Scott. A very talented lady, who was a joy to be around. Our mutual friend Joseph Naftali introduced us.
I met Joe (for friends) about 11 years ago, online, in an art community. He’s one of the few people that has seen me develop as an artist from the beginning, and throughout the years supported and encouraged me, and has been a great friend. Joe and I had never met in real-life, but when I told him about my plans to visit New York (his city), he quickly started to pave the way down for me and connect me with people in the fashion industry over there. He’s one of those funny, kind and generous people you don’t often meet in life, and always has a back-up plan.
Not only did Joe show me some nice places in the city, took me to my first stand-up comedy show, and had dinner with me at Katz Deli (Featured in When Harry Met Sally).. He also provided the photoshoot location we used last-minute, because rain ruined our plan to shoot outside in The City. I’m very thankful that I have met so many amazing people through Joe. I worked with models Nunana Awoonor and Erika Rodgers (also a friend of Joe) during my New York shoot, who were both very professional and fun to hang out with. And.. Many colourful wigs, who also did a great job during the day!
I used natural light combined with one single large reflector in these images.
We hope you will enjoy the video and images!
